I really enjoyed my stay with the comfy king room and how quick they were to provide an extra duvet when we needed it. The cozy lounge and beautiful garden area were perfect for unwinding. The shower took a bit to figure out, but it didn't really matter in the end! 😊

It was just a good match for a short visit in Eton with good value for money. The room was tidy, and I appreciated being given a gift card for a local coffee shop when there was no food available. Just be prepared for potential wait times if you arrive when no staff is around.

The location of The Eton Mess is hard to beat, just a short walk to the river. I enjoyed the free tea and coffee-it was a nice touch. The electric fireplace in the room added a cozy feel, perfect for chilly evenings. I found the room in need of some TLC. It felt a bit tired and the bed was uncomfortably firm. The breakfast service was a bit confusing. No one asked for our preferences, and we received a full English without choosing any items. While the food was decent, the lack of choice for dietary restrictions was concerning. I experienced issues with hot water. Only a cold wash was available in the morning because the manager wasn't available until later. Those inconveniences really impacted the overall stay.

The location across the bridge from Windsor was superb! Our room was nice, but the carpet was downright filthy and breakfast was a disaster. 😟
