I really enjoyed my stay with the comfy king room and how quick they were to provide an extra duvet when we needed it. The cozy lounge and beautiful garden area were perfect for unwinding. The shower took a bit to figure out, but it didn’t really matter in the end! 😊

It was just a good match for a short visit in Eton with good value for money. The room was tidy, and I appreciated being given a gift card for a local coffee shop when there was no food available. Just be prepared for potential wait times if you arrive when no staff is around.

missingWrote a review on 02 Augcozy atmospherefree teahot waterbreakfast choices
The location of The Eton Mess is hard to beat, just a short walk to the river. I enjoyed the free tea and coffee—it was a nice touch. The electric fireplace in the room added a cozy feel, perfect for chilly evenings. I found the room in need of some TLC. it felt a bit tired and the bed was uncomfortably firm. The breakfast service was a bit confusing. no one asked for our preferences, and we received a full English without choosing any items. While the food was decent, the lack of choice for dietary restrictions was concerning. I experienced issues with hot water. only a cold wash was available in the morning because the manager wasn't available until later. Those inconveniences really impacted the overall stay.

The location across the bridge from Windsor was superb! Our room was nice, but the carpet was downright filthy and breakfast was a disaster. 😟

Room 5 was awesome! It had an electric fireplace, a roof terrace, and a super comfy bed. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the castle. Staff was fantastic, even offered champagne on arrival. Breakfast with good coffee and fresh milk was a nice touch. Really felt like they cared.

missingWrote a review on 03 Julcharming décorspacious roomcheck-in inconvenience
Charming décor throughout creates a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The King Room provided ample space, equipped with a comfortable bed, although firmness may not suit everyone’s preference.
Had a bit of a hassle with check-in since no one was around when we arrived. Had to stash our luggage at a nearby shop and cut our time short elsewhere to pick it up before closing. there’s a notable lack of twin rooms, which may disappoint families looking to share. Some common areas could also benefit from more comfortable seating options for relaxation.

The location was ideal for our needs, conveniently situated near the station and shops. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we enjoyed a lovely welcome with champagne upon our early arrival. Breakfast featured fresh bread rolls, which were delightful. there were moments that felt a bit disorganized, and we faced a minor issue with the shower water pressure being lower than expected.
